All Concerned – Operating (Traffic) Dept. – Bhusawal Division
Sub: Selection for promotion to the post of Station Master in Pay Level-6 (GP 4200) against 25% General Selection Quota in Operating Department of Bhusawal Division.
1. Vacancies
It is proposed to fill up 29 vacancies for the post of Station Master in Pay Level-6 against 25% General Selection Quota in Operating Department of Bhusawal Division.

2. Eligibility and Service Conditions
(a)
The following staff are eligible:
Shunting Jamadars
Shunting Masters
Cabinmen Grade-1
Switchmen
Sr. Signallers
Sr. Train Clerks
(All in Level-4)
and
Leverman Gr.-1
Pointsman Gr.-1
Shuntman Gr.-1
Cabinman Gr.-II
Train Clerks
(All in Level-2)
(b)
Shunting Master/Jamadar & TNCS in Level-6 are also eligible for promotion to the post of Station Master in Level-6 against the 25% General Selection Quota.
This will be treated as lateral transfer and no pay fixation will be allowed.
(c)
Staff in Level-1 (erstwhile 6th CPC GP Rs.1800) of the Operating Department who:
Are Matriculates, and
Have 5 years of regular service in Operating Department
are also eligible.
ii. Educational Qualification
The applicant must possess Matriculation qualification.
iii. Age Limit
Upper age limit:
45 years (General)
50 years (SC/ST)

iv. Medical Fitness
Aye-Two Medical Classification is mandatory for the post of Station Master.
(Ref: Annexure-IV of para 510(2) of IRMM & Railway Board letter No. 99/H/7/1 NR dated 30.05.2003)
v. Training Requirement
After passing the written examination, selected employees must:
Pass Aptitude Test
Complete initial training course at ZRTI/BSL or similar training centre
Before promotion, they must also undergo practical training related to Station Master duties.
